나는 영화를 사랑해
로렌스는 영화를 사랑하는 17세 소년으로, 영화에 관해 이야기하는 걸 누구보다 좋아하지만 과하게 넘치는 열정 때문에 사람들과 그리 잘 어울리지 못한다. 뉴욕대에 입학해 영화감독이 되는 것이 꿈인 로렌스는 DVD 대여점에 아르바이트 자리를 구하고, 이후 동료, 점장, 손님들과 크고 작은 소동을 벌이며 자신의 미래를 더욱 구체적으로 그리기 시작한다.
